Marquette, MI – October 17, 2024 – Central Upper Peninsula CISM Donut Dash Presented by the Ben Lauren Memorial Foundation is Saturday in Marquette. The family-friendly event is a fundraiser for the Central U.P. Critical Incident Stress Management Team.
Zyburt explained that the CISM team is made up of volunteers who work to promote and foster mental health and recovery for first responders, firefighters and law enforcement and others who are on the front lines of trauma response.
Buruse said the event starts at 10:00 a.m. with a 5K and 1 mile fun run/walk. Participants will meet at the bike path at the corner of Baraga Avenue and Lakeshore Drive in Marquette.
