Marquette, MI – October 10, 2024 – An effort coordinated through the Marquette-Alger RESA, the McKinney-Vento Grant Program, is assisting homeless students in area school districts.
Karwoski explained what the McKinney-Vento program is and which students it aims to support.
She outlined the resources and services provided to students and how they impact their educational stability and success.
Karwoski also explained how the community can get involved to help support students experiencing homelessness.
