Marquette, MI – October 7, 2024 – The Lake Superior Community Partnership is hosting an evening of special recognition of small businesses in Marquette County.
Rotundo said the Small Business Celebration for Marquette County is on Friday, November 1, 2024 from 5:30pm to 8:00pm at The Mather, located at 107 East Canda Street in Ishpeming.
The event is open to LSCP members and the general public, and will feature heavy appetizers from local restaurants, a cash bar and four small business recognition awards. They are:
Small Business Champion – Individual who has made a significant impact on the success of local small businesses.
Outstanding Small Business – East End, Outstanding Small Business – South End, and Outstanding Small Business – West End.
Rotundo explained that the LSCP is accepting nominations now through October 11th, and winners will be selected by the West End Advisory Council.
She added that they are still looking for sponsorships and/or basket donations, and an information can be found at the LSCP website.
