Marquette, MI – October 4, 2024 – The Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter, or UPAWS, is holding “Strut Your Mutt”, one of their largest fundraisers of the year, Saturday in Marquette.
Adronis said the event will be at Mattson Lower Harbor Park, and opens with registration at 10:00am with the strut starting at 11:00am.
Conroy explained that all proceeds raised will go to the continuing operation of the Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter in Sands Township.
Andronis added that the dog party is open to all, and is an opportunity for pet owners to come out and show off their dogs and to raise cash for the shelter.
