Marquette, MI – September 13,2024 – The Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter is hosting their 1st Annual Spay-ghetti Dinner fundraiser this weekend.
UPAWS Shelter Manager Sarah Evers spoke about the dinner with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Evers said it’s happening this Sunday, September 15th from 11am to 1pm at UPAWS’ Community Room at the Shelter, just south of the Crossrads on M-553.
She explained that the support will help UPAWS continue their important Community Spay/Neuter Program, and tickets are only $12 at the door, with children 5 years and under priced at $5.
Evers said you can treat yourself to a delicious meal of spaghetti pasta with sauce, meatballs, and garlic bread, and enjoy a free dessert.
