Marquette, MI – September 4, 2024 – Upper Peninsula Health Plan is putting the call out for volunteer drivers to help transport their member to and from their medical appointments.
Krystina Gwinn, UPHP Customer Service Manager, spoke about the need with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Gwinn explained that the volunteer drivers are the backbone of the UPHP Transport Benefit and they serve members around the U.P.
She laid out the reimbursements driver can receive for the trips, and what areas of the U.P. currently have a need for volunteers.
