Marquette, MI – August 23, 2024 – Kognisjon Bryggeri “Name a Beer After Your Pet” to benefit the Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter is back.
“Sal’s Golden Ale” debuts on Friday, August 23rd at Kognisjon Bryggeri on North Third Street in Marquette from 6-9pm.
Amber Talo with UPAWS spoke about the event and the beer with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Talo explained Sal, the pooch, brings comfort to others wherever she goes, and with a hint of lemon and honey, this golden ale is sure to provide some comfort as well.
She said that Sal is a therapy dog in Marquette and part of the original pack of Wild Pups at NMU. A three-time canine good citizen recipient and the award winning UPAWS Silver Tag and Purple Paw Award recipient.
“Sal’s Golden Ale” is brewed by Kognisjon Bryggeri to benefit UPAWS, with a portion of each pint sold will be donated to the Shelter.
