Marquette-Alger RESA Seeks Substitute Teachers

Marquette, MI – August 9, 2024 – Marquette-Alger RESA is getting the word out about becoming a substitute teacher.

Director of Human Resources and Communications, Monica Nordeen, and Area Manager with ESS, Jamee Gobert, spoke about the effort with Mark & Walt in the Morning.

Nordeen talked about why Marquette-Alger RESA is looking for substitute teachers, and how substitute teaching benefits local school districts.

She also talked about the benefits for a substitute teacher including the pay and scheduling flexibility.

Gobert talked about what makes someone the right candidate for substitute teaching and how ESS can help with costs or requirements involved in becoming a substitute teacher.
