Marquette, MI – June 28, 2024 – The C.A.R.Ma. Quartet, a band of veteran multi-talented musicians, is bringing their unique musical sounds to Marquette this weekend.
The group is performing at Blackrocks Brewery Friday, June 28 and Saturday, June 29 at 7:00pm both nights.
Churchville, who is a native of Marquette, shared the story of how he came to play with Ruth in the band and talked about how they mix multiple genres and influences to create their sound.
Ruth, who serves as bandleader, shared some of his storied history of playing with musical giants of all styles for 50 years and how that helped to create the C.A.R.Ma. Quartet’s sound of eclectic traditional and improvisational music.
Madcat also broke out the jaw harp and harmonica to showcase some of his skills on the instruments.
