Marquette, MI – June 28, 2024 – Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Central Upper Peninsula has been recognized nationally for their expanded growth and quality of service.
The agency has been named a 2023 Big Brothers Big Sisters of America Small Agency of the Year and 2023 Growth Award Winner.
Executive Director Jayne Letts spoke about the award today with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Letts said the recognition comes from the agency’s Nationwide Leadership Council and is for expansion of services and for excellence in the organization’s 1-to-1 youth mentoring program.
She added that Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Central Upper Peninsula is the only agency in Michigan to receive the Agency of the Year top honor.
There are currently 225 Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies around the country.
