Marquette, MI – June 27, 2024 – The American Legion Post 44 in Marquette is holding their special “Queen of Hearts” fundraising raffle once again this year to benefit their baseball, hockey and other youth programs.
Jim Provost, from the Post, spoke about the raffle today with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Provost said it’s a progressive-style raffle based on a deck of playing cards that is being held over a 40-week period.
He explained that raffle tickets are $2.00 each and will be sold weekly until 6:30pm each Wednesday with the drawing to be conducted at the Post at 7:00pm.
Any profits from this raffle will be used to fund the American Legion Bantam AA Hockey Team, their American Legion baseball programs and other youth-serving efforts.
Provost said raffle tickets are available at the Post Canteen at 700 West Bluff Street in Marquette. You must be over 18 to purchase a ticket and you do not need to be present to win.
