Marquette, MI – May 17, 2024 – Big Brothers / Big Sisters of the Central Upper Peninsula has received national recognition as a Big Brothers/Big Sisters of America Growth Award Winner.
Executive Director Jayne Letts spoke about the recognition and more with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Letts said the award recognizes program excellence in 2023 for growth in the organization’s signature 1-to-1 youth mentoring program.
She explained that in the past year, Big Brothers/Big Sisters of the Central Upper Peninsula has served 214 youth and grown its local services by 100 percent.
Letts also talked about the continuing need for “Bigs” in the program and how you can get involved.
