Marquette, MI – May 16, 2024 – First Lady Dr. Jill Biden kicked off a campaign swing through Michigan with a stop in Marquette today.
Biden was joined by the Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff in delivering stump speeches at a Women For Biden-Harris event for the Biden-Harris Presidential campaign this afternoon at the Ore Dock Brewing Company.

Biden hit on several key points in the Biden-Harris campaign platform with a special emphasis on women’s reproductive rights and work protections.
The First Lady finished her comments and shook hands with attendees and headed off to events in the eastern U.P. this evening and tomorrow. She then heads to Midland and Detroit.
Michigan is a key battleground state in this year’s Presidential election with President Joe Biden and Former President Donald Trump currently in a dead heat.
