Marquette, MI – May 6, 2024 – The Marquette-Alger RESA is proposing to serve 260 children through the Great Start Readiness Program across Marquette and Alger counties through community partnerships for next year.
Carey explained that the program is seeking to expand services to 120 more students than this current year, and there is a call out for all families in Marquette and Alger counties to register for the program to help prioritize students who can benefit from it.
She also said there this is a need for more teachers to help execute the expansion, and more information about getting involved as an educator, or to register for the GSRP, is available though the Marquette-Alger RESA website.
