Marquette, MI – April 10, 2024 – On our latest Wildcat Wednesday, where we talk about what’s happening at Northern Michigan University, we heard about a new day to show your Wildcat pride.
NMU President Dr. Brock Tessman spoke about NMU Giving Day with Mark & walt in the Morning.
Tessman said NMU Giving Day is on April 18, 2024 and is inspired by Northern Michigan University’s Charter in April 1899.
It is intended to help specific departments, programs and teams and support specific student-centered projects and campus community initiatives.
Tessman added that to celebrate NMU’s 125th anniversary, there will $125,000 in donor incentives, where for 24 hours, your giving will be matched for 2 times the impact with a dollar-for-dollar match.
