Marquette, MI – March 13, 2024 – The Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter, or UPAWS, is hosting the Cause for Paws Party for the Pets this weekend and all are invited!
UPAWS Board President Leslie Hurst spoke about the event on Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Hurst said the event is returning after being on hiatus for a few years and is this Saturday, March 16th from 6:00 to 10:00pm at the Marquette Holiday Inn.
Hurst says it’s a night packed with games, cool auctions, raffle goodies, awards, tasty appetizers, and a few surprises!
She said every dollar raised goes to caring for animals at the shelter and helping them find forever homes.
