Marquette, MI – March 11, 2024 – The Marquette City Commission has a regular meeting coming up this evening.
The Commission will be holding a public hearing on a proposal by the Marquette Downtown Development Authority to expand their Tax Increment Funding district to include the Third Street corridor.
City Manager Karen Kovacs spoke about the hearing and the proposal on Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Kovacs added that Commissioners will also be acting on an extension on a sales agreement for a parcel of city property at 600 West Spring Street to Habitat for Humanity for the building of a multi-unit mid-income affordable housing development.
The meeting is at 6:00pm at Commission Chambers at Marquette City Hall.
