Marquette, MI – February 19, 2024 – State Senator Ed McBroom weighed in on the plan to possibly change the scope of services at the U.S. Postal Service facility in Dickinson County.
McBroom shared his thoughts in a legislative update today with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
The Dickinson County Republican says there are too many questions that are not being answered by the USPS concerning a Facility Review that is being conducted that may relocate some processing services to Green Bay, Wisconsin. McBroom is calling for increased transparency by the Postal Service with what they are trying to do.
The conversation then turned toward legislation co-authored by him and a downstate Democratic Senate colleague that is intended to increase transparency in state government and FOIA requests.
McBroom then wrapped up with a few words about early voting opportunities now available in the state leading up the Michigan Presidential Primary election coming up on Tuesday, February 27th.
