Marquette, MI – January 29, 2024 – The Marquette City Commission has a regular meeting tonight. It will include special presentations for Marquette Police Service and City Employee recognition related to their response and handling of an armed standoff that happened last week at City Hall.
Kovacs said Commissioners will also be voting on accepting a new labor agreement with the city firefighter’s union.
She added that they will also appoint three Commissioners to serve on a subcommittee to evaluate the job performance of the City Attorney and City Manager.
The meeting is at 6:00 o’clock at Commission Chambers at Marquette City Hall.
