Despite Lack Of Snow, UP200 Planning Continues

Marquette, MIJanuary 4, 2023 – Planning is underway for the return of U.P. 200 and Midnight Run Sled Dog Championships with the starts of the races coming soon to Downtown Marquette.

This comes after the races were cancelled last year due to poor weather reasons.

Ross Anthony, with the U.P. 200, spoke about the race with Mark & Walt in the Morning.

Anthony said organizers are watching for snow to start to move into the area for the running of the races February 15-19 across Marquette and Alger Counties.

Anthony said that volunteers are still needed for the race events and you find out the latest information and details at the UP 200 website.
