Marquette, MI – December 11, 2023 – The Marquette City Commission has a regular meeting tonight.
Kovacs said Commissioners will be hearing an annual report on the Marquette Downtown Development Authority from Executive Director Tara Laase-McKinney.
She added that they will also be voting on the sale of a parcel of city-owned land at 600 West Spring Street for the development of eight single-family middle-income homes.
Kovacs also talked about the Commission will consider a plan to reorganize voting precincts in the city from seven to four and consolidate the polling locations for those precincts to the Baraga Gym and the YMCA.
The meeting is at 6:00pm at Marquette City Hall.
