Marquette, MI – October 10, 2023 – The Marquette City Commission has a regular meeting coming up this evening. The meeting is being held today due to yesterday being a holiday.
Marquette City Manager Karen Kovacs spoke about tonight’s meeting with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Kovacs said the Commission will be holding a public hearing on a series of proposed amendments updating parts of the City’s Charter.
Commissioners will also be voting on the contract for a proposed public art sculpture installation planned for near the old Lower Harbor ore dock along the city’s new cultural trail.
Tonight’s meeting begins at 6:00 o’clock at Commission Chambers at Marquette City Hall.
