Marquette, MI – September 29, 2023 – The Greater Ishpeming-Negaunee Area Chamber of Commerce office in Ishpeming has been closed until further notice.
According to a statement from the Chamber’s Board of Directors, the closure is due to unforeseen circumstances.
Board Secretary Nate Heffron spoke about the situation with News Director Walt Lindala.
Heffron would only say that it is an internal issue that the Board is looking into.
He added that adds their Annual Dinner, scheduled for October 11th, is postponed as well. A re-opening date for the office along with a new date for the dinner will be announced as soon as it is finalized.
