Marquette, MI – September 22, 2023 – The annual Fire Prevention Week and Static Display activities are coming soon in Marquette.
The events are being supported by ServPro of the Upper Peninsula and start with the static display on Saturday, September 30th, with Fire Prevention Week starting on Sunday, October 1st.
Talo said the static display features fire trucks from around the county and a parade in Marquette. There will also be prizes for kids and plenty of information about fire safety and prevention.
She added that the theme of the overall effort this year is kitchen fire prevention and safety in the home.
The static display begins at 11:00 a.m that Saturday at Harlow Park in Marquette and all are welcome to attend.
