Marquette, MI – September 22, 2023 – The Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter, or UPAWS, is holding “Strut Your Mutt”, one of their largest fundraisers of the year, next Saturday in Negaunee.
Adronis said the event opens with registration at 10:00am and the strut starts at 11:00am at Jackson Mine Park.
She added that the dog party is an opportunity for pet owners to come out and show off their dogs and to raise cash for the shelter.
Adronis said the event is open the public and there is still time to register, and all proceeds raised will go to the continuing operation of the Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter in Sands Township.
