Marquette, MI – August 24, 2023 – Officials with the agencies coordinating the demolition of the former Marquette General Hospital property say a pair of public meetings about the project have been rescheduled.
The NMU Foundation, City of Marquette, and the demolition firm Adamo Group were originally hosting the public information sessions this Tuesday. Due to issues with a key presenter at the meetings, the meetings have been moved to Thursday, September 7th.
Nyberg discussed the expected timeline for the demolition project and said the rescheduled public update sessions will be held at the Northern Center at Northern Michigan University, with the first session at 10:30 a.m. and the second at 5:30 p.m.
He also added that full updates will be posted to the www.renewcollegeavemqt.org website as the project moves forward.
