Marquette, MI – July 2, 2023 – A special musical performance to support diabetes education and awareness in the U.P. is happening this weekend in Negaunee in conjunction with the 20th Teal Lake Swim.
Singer/songwriter Joshua Davis will be performing at the Strega Nonna restaurant on Sunday evening to raise funds for UPDON, the Upper Peninsula Diabetes Outreach Network.
Dr. Grossman, who is a long-time U.P. diabetes educator and awareness advocate, spoke about the history of the 20 years of the Teal Lake Swim and why the Joshua Davis concert came to be.
Rachel talked about some of the tasty culinary treats she is putting together for attendees to enjoy at the evening at Strega Nonna.
