Senator Ed McBroom Shares U.P. Legislative Update

Marquette, MI – July 17, 2023 – State Senator Ed McBroom checked in with a regular monthly legislative update today with Mark & Walt in the Morning.

McBroom spoke about a recent series of constituent meetings he had in the eastern U.P. with House Republican Representative Dave Prestin and more.

The Dickinson County Republican also shared his feelings on Governor Whitmer appointing members to a new special commission on statewide population issues in Michigan but included no representation from any Upper Michigan residents.

McBroom wrapped with a few highlights of U.P.-specific projects and programs receiving funding in the recently-approved budget for Michigan’s next fiscal year.
