Marquette, MI – June 12, 2023 – The Greater Ishpeming-Negaunee Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a series of events and preparing for a change in leadership.
Executive Director Bob Hendrickson spoke about the events and more with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Hendrickson said the GINCC 7th Annual Kids Summer Carnival is this Wednesday at the River Rock Lanes in Ishpeming from 5:30-7:30pm.
He added that registration deadlines are approaching for individuals and groups getting involved with Independence Day celebrations in the West End.
Hendrickson also talked about his leaving the post of Executive Director and taking a similar position with the Iron Ore Heritage Trail Authority, and outlined the general succession plan for who will be identified to take over for him at GINCC.
He will be stepping down from the Chamber at the end of this month.
