Marquette, MI – April 7, 2023 – A special event is coming up next week to kick off activities marking a milestone anniversary for the City of Ishpeming.
Ishpeming City Manager Craig Cugini spoke about what’s in the works with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Cugini said coming up on Monday there will be a special celebration of the 150th Anniversary of Ishpeming becoming a City.
He explained that the city is joining the Ishpeming Area Historical Society for a Business after Hours event at their location in the Gossard Building at 308 Cleveland.
Cugini said the official Greater Ishpeming-Negaunee Area Chamber of Commerce event and will run from 5:00 to 7:00pm. He added this will be the first of several special events celebrating 150 years of Ishpeming being a City.
