Marquette, MI – March 17, 2023 – A Winter Weather Advisory is posted for Marquette County through tomorrow night. The National Weather Service Office in Negaunee Township says heavy snow expected. Snow totals up to 4 inches are expected through this morning. Another round of snow will begin this evening with 5 to 10 inches possible, and winds up to 45 mph near the Lake Superior shoreline.
Travel could be very difficult. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact multiple morning and evening commutes through tomorrow.
