Marquette, MI – January 30, 2023 – The Marquette City Commission will be selecting a new Commissioner at their regular meeting tonight. A vacancy was created by the resignation of Commissioner Evan Bonsall, who was moving from the city.
Kovacs explained that seven residents have applied, and the Commission will make their selection from that group.
She said the Commission will also be discussing the proposed sale of a parcel of city-owned land on South Lakeshore Boulevard for future development.
The meeting is at 6:00pm at Commission Chambers at Marquette City Hall.
