Marquette, MI – January 4, 2023 – Preparations are continuing for the Ishpeming Ski Club’s 136th Annual Ski Jumping Tournament.
ISC Vice President Peter Copenhaver spoke about the tournament with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Copenhaver said jumping competitions will be run over a weekend this year at the UP Nordic Ski Complex in Ishpeming on January 20th and 21st, 2023.
He said the Tournament will be complete with tailgating, huge bonfires, fireworks and great views of the action on Suicide Hill.
Copenhaver added that there are changes to available parking, with only 350 vehicles being allowed to park at the hill per night for the competitions. There will be a shuttle bus being run during the competition between the hill and the Negaunee High School parking lot.
