Marquette, MI – December 22, 2022 – Powell Township Schools in Big Bay are closed today. School officials say they have closed in anticipation of an intensifying winter storm across the region.
The Munising Public Schools and the Superior Central Schools in Alger County remain closed today. The districts have shut down due to widespread illness in both students and staff. District officials say they canceled to give families time to get well over the scheduled holiday break.
