Marquette, MI – October 28, 2022 – The recently-established Marquette County Emergency Cleaning Fund has gone through some changes, and thanks to an unique partnership, is expanding it’s ability to assist family members and other survivors of a violent suicide.
The name of the fund is changing to the Suicide Survivor Fund, and is working with the Michigan-based group Six Feet Over to develop and coordinate the Fund.
Aro said the fund will continue to financially help families and other survivors with the costs associated with cleaning and property damage repair resulting from a violent suicide, but now, thanks to working with Six Feet Over, the reach of the help is expanding.
Hardy talked about how Six Feet Over is helping with the effort to expand communication about suicide and how anyone who may need their help can find out more.
