
Marquette, MI – June 24, 2022 – Local contemporary dance company TaMaMa is presenting their latest piece entitled “Sanctuary” this Saturday in Marquette as part of Art Week.
Barch explained that the piece is produced in collaboration with Patrick Booth and Maria Formolo, and presents a site-specific modern dance piece being performed on the Lake Superior beach behind the Marquette Maritime Museum
Middleton said the performance has themes of curiosity, exploration, ritual, and gratitude and has been choreographed specifically for the beach location.
“Sanctuary” will be performed Saturday, June 25th from 5:00pm-6:00pm.
