Marquette, MI – May 27, 2022 – The City of Negaunee is moving ahead with a series of projects as the summer months approach.
Negaunee City Manager Nate Heffron shared an update today with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Heffron talked about a pair of recently-announced agreements between the City and the Negaunee Public Schools, including a land swap and a contract to have a Community Resources Police Officer at the schools.
He also gave an update on projects involving the resurfacing of multiple alleyways in the city and a major project to update the city’s water infrastructure.
Heffron also reiterated the call for interested city residents to get involved with the Negaunee Historic District Study Committee, which will work with city staff to establish a local historic district.
