
Marquette, MI – May 25, 2022 – The summer travel season kicks off officially this weekend with the Memorial Day holiday, and we heard some predictions and expectations from Michigan’s main travel maven.
Lorenz said that this season is one of the most difficult for hm to predict due to challenges like high gas prices, inflation and the war in Ukraine.
But he added that the pent-up demand of people to get out and travel this summer is very strong and although those factors may play into it, he is still expecting a solid travel season for Michigan.
