Marquette, MI – April 22, 2022 – The Marquette-Alger Regional Education Service Agency, or MARESA, is getting the word out about upcoming preschool screening opportunities in the area.
Carey explained that any and all children that turn 3 or 4 by December 1st are welcome to attend preschool screening, and they are happening at various community locations in April and May.
She also shared some information abut the Michigan Tri-Share Program, which is administered by the Michigan Women’s Commission, funded by the State of Michigan.
Carey said through Tri-Share, the cost of child care is shared equally by an eligible employee, their employer, and the State of Michigan, with coordination being provided regionally by a facilitator hub, which in this case, is MARESA.
