U.P. Regional Blood Center In A Critical Need Of Blood

Marquette, MI – April 6, 2022 – The U.P. Regional Blood Center currently has a critical need for O negative, A negative, B negative and B positive blood types.

Rachel Washburn, Coordinator of Blood Collections at the Blood Center, spoke about the need today with Mark & Walt in the Morning.

Washburn said the Blood Center has collection sites in Marquette, Hancock and Escanaba and is the primary supplier of blood to 13 U.P. hospitals.
