Marquette, MI – April 5, 2022 – Negaunee Scout Troop 346 has placed special collection tags on door handles around areas of Negaunee for the Scouting For Food campaign.
Jaklin said this is the 34th year that the Bay-Lakes Council has been participating in effort to collect non-perishable food items for area food pantries.
He said Scouts from Troop 346 will be returning this Saturday afternoon to the homes where they placed the tags to collect the food items.
Jaklin added that the collected items will go to the Salvation Army, St. Vincent dePaul and Ishpeming Food Bank for distribution to those in need.
