Marquette, MI – March 11, 2022 – mediaBrew Communications’ Sunny 101.9 WKQS-fm continued it’s streak as the most awarded Upper Michigan radio station with nine Broadcast Excellence Awards announced this week by the Michigan Association of Broadcasters.
The station was recognized with Best and Merit awards in multiple categories including local news and sports coverage, morning show team, community involvement and use of new media.
mediaBrew Communications Owner and General Manager Chuck Williams says the awards are a credit to the station’s staff and their commitment to the community.
Williams added, “During this unique year, and all of it’s challenges, our team joined together to overcome obstacles, working to serve the community and our clients with a focus on growth and service. The team is wonderfully deserving of this recognition, and I couldn’t be prouder.”
