U.P. 200 Sled Dog Race Weekend Is Here And Things Are Ready To Go!

Marquette, MI – February 17, 2022 – The U.P. 200, Midnight Run and Jack Pine 30 sled dog races are back for 2022 and all systems are a go!

Ross Anthony, Board Member with the U.P. Sled Dog Association, shared the latest details with Mark & Walt in the Morning.

Anthony said the trails are in excellent condition, final preparations are underway and all race events and activities are in motion for the weekend.

He explained that the events officially kick off on Friday evening at 6:30 with the Opening Ceremonies in Downtown Marquette followed by the first musher team out of the gate for the U.P. 200 at 7:00 p.m.  That will be followed by the start of the Midnight Run at 8:30 p.m.
