Marquette, MI – January 6, 2022 – Multiple schools in Marquette County are closed again today as remnants of a major snowstorm continue.
The National Weather Service has downgraded the Winter Storm Warning for Marquette County to a Winter Weather Weather Advisory through 6:00 am tomorrow.
Additional accumulations of up to 7 inches possible with the heaviest snow in the higher terrain areas away from Lake Superior.
State Police say roads are snow covered and slippery around the region and drivers should slow down and use caution while traveling.
