Holiday Tree Lighting And Recreation Plan Updates Happening In Marquette Township

Marquette, MI – November 16, 2021 – Two events are happening in Marquette Township that organizers want you to know about and take part in.

First, the Township Planning Department is inviting the public to share their ideas for recreational opportunities in the Township at special meeting this evening at Marquette Township Hall at 5:30pm.

Second, the annual Marquette Township “Catch The Christmas Spirit” Holiday Tree Lighting ceremony is coming up on Tuesday, November 23rd at 6:00pm in front of the Westwood Mall.

Township Manager Jon Kangas and Township Events Committee Chair Todd Noordyk spoke about both events today with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
