Marquette, MI – October 22, 2021 – A new book by Michigan author G.T. Long titled “A Distant Rumble” The Unnoticed, Unreported World of Grassroots Politics is out now featuring Long’s personal recollections of 40 years of working behind-the-scenes in grassroots Michigan politics.
Long said it’s a collection of both entertaining and instructional essays gathered from his decades of political organizing.
He also shared a particularly funny story about the clandestine kidnapping of U.S. Senator Ted Kennedy while the Senator visited the Upper Peninsula.
