Marquette, MI – September 27, 2021 – The Marquette City Commission has a regular meeting this evening featuring a public hearing and action on the proposed budget for the upcoming fiscal year, which begins on Friday.
Kovacs said the city is facing a significant shortfall going into 2022, and the Commission will also be taking action on a budget adjustment for the end of Fiscal Year 2021.
Commissioners will also be discussing recent performance evaluations of the City Manager and City Attorney.
The meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. at Commission Chambers at Marquette City Hall.
