Marquette, MI – September 9, 2021 – The Marquette County Department of Veterans Affairs will be hosting a 30-Year Desert Storm Anniversary Veterans Reunion and Outreach event later this month.
Salo said it is happening on September 18, 2021 on the campus of Northern Michigan University from 12:00 Noon to 6:00pm at the Northern Center.
He explained that the purpose is to bring Desert Storm Veterans together from across the U.P. and honor their service to our country.
Salo said food and drinks will be provided throughout the day for veterans, family members and veteran advocates and there will be Veteran Healthcare representatives, Veteran Center Counselors, Veteran Service Officers, and other advocates on site as well.
