32nd Labor Day Festival Coming Up This Monday In Ishpeming

Marquette, MI – September 2, 2021 – The Marquette-Alger Community Labor Council and the U.P. Regional Labor Federation, AFL-CIO are presenting the 32nd Labor Day Festival in Ishpeming this Labor Day.

Rich Helgren, Council Chair, and Alex Gustafson, Council Recording Secretary, spoke about the events planned for this Monday with Mark & Walt in the Morning today.

Helgren explained that the events and activities start with a parade at 11:00 am with the Community Picnic starting at Noon at the Lake Bancroft Park in Ishpeming.

Gustafson said the day will have music, speakers, children’s activities, food and a beer tent for all to enjoy.
