Three Sons Of Ishpeming Memorial To Be Dedicated This Friday

Marquette, MI – July 1, 2021 – A special memorial recognizing three natives of Ishpeming who have achieved national acclaim is set for dedication this week.

Ishpeming City Manager Craig Cugini and Project Coordinator Bob Marietti spoke about the “Three Sons of Ishpeming” memorial today with Mark & Walt in the Morning.

Marietti explained that the memorial recognizes John Voelker, Author and Legal Expert, Dr. Glenn Seaborg, Scientist and Clarence “Kelly” Johnson, Aviation Pioneer.

Cugini said the dedication of the memorial is set for Friday, July 2nd at 11:00 am.
